How We Started
Barbara AmEnde founded her consulting business in 2006 after a 20-year corporate Human Resources career. Barbara had always encouraged her children to follow their passion, and decided to take her own advice!
Barbara’s dad was in the banking business, helping small companies grow and thrive. Her vision was to help similar companies cover all their HR bases when it comes to hiring, compliance, and labor issues. And she’s doing just that: applying the knowledge gained through her experience and education to smaller companies that don’t have the budget or the need for a full-time HR department.
There aren’t a lot of resources out there for small businesses, and I want to provide them effective Human Resource support. I take care of my client companies as if they had their own internal HR department. Working on an affordable project basis, at a flat hourly rate, I let my clients control the cost and set the number of dollars or hours. How We Work
Our first step is to find out about your company and your Human Resources needs, usually by meeting with you at your business location. There is no charge for this initial consultation.
Next, we present a Proposal that details our assessment of your HR issue and how we propose to handle it-the services we will provide, a projected timetable, and our fees. We like delivering our proposal in person so we can explain it fully and address any questions you might have.
Our fees are based on hours spent by our professional staff, plus expenses at cost and sales tax where required by law. Before we start your project, we can discuss payment options that make it easier on your cash flow and budget.
